With over 25 years of experience as a physiotherapist, I have developed a broad expertise in treating musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in 1997.
My career began in Greater London, where I spent four years working within the NHS across various physiotherapy specialties. It was during this time that I developed a particular interest in shoulder problems.
In 2001, I transitioned to private practice in Watford, before relocating to Devon in 2004. I spent just over a year at the Nuffield Hospital in Exeter, where I managed a busy outpatient caseload, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal issues and post-operative patients. During this period, I further refined my expertise in treating shoulder conditions.
In the autumn of 2006, I joined East Devon Physiotherapy in Sidford, where I managed a diverse caseload, helping patients with a variety of musculoskeletal problems. In 2018, following a restructuring of the practice, I became an independent practitioner and continue to work from the same Sidford premises, now known as "The Therapy Room, Sidford."
I treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues in patients of all ages, from children to older adults. Common conditions I treat include neck, back, shoulder, arm, hip, knee, and foot problems. I offer a variety of treatments tailored to each individual's needs. While many patients require only one or two sessions, I also work with those managing long-term conditions, offering maintenance treatment when necessary. In such cases, I collaborate closely with each patient to determine the most effective treatment frequency, ensuring they receive the maximum benefit without unnecessary treatment.
