I have more than 25 years of experience working as a physiotherapist treating musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries. I graduated from Brunel University with a Bsc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy in 1997.
I spent 4 years working in Greater London in the NHS working in various physiotherapy disciplines. During this time I developed an interest in the problem shoulder.
in 2001 I left the NHS to work in a busy private practice in Watford before relocating to Devon in late 2004.
I spent just over a year working at the Nuffield hospital in Exeter where I ran a busy outpatient list treating a variety of patients with musculoskeletal problems and after a variety of orthopaedic surgeries. In this time I further developed my interest in the problem shoulder.
In the Autumn of 2006 I began working at East Devon Physiotherapy in Sidford, managing a varied caseload treating a variety of problems. In 2018 due to a restructuring of the practice I became an independent practitioner and continued to work independently from the East Devon Physiotherapy premises (now known as "The Therapy Room, Sidford")
I continue to treat a wide variety of muscloskeletal problems in patients of all ages from children to the young at heart. I treat many problems including neck, back, shoulder, arm, hip, knee and foot problems. I offer a wide range of treatments. Many people only need one or two sessions but I also treat patients with long term problems who need maintenance treatment. in such cases I work in collaboration with the patient to ascertain the optimal treatment frequency to allow maximal benefit without treating any more than is necessary.
